Language teacher sells condo in Dumbo for $2.25M

Medium 1e8e19744b203db397122f4036a02436 Tracey Scronic sold a condo at 96 Main St. in Dumbo to James M. Franzen and Harold A. Smith III for $2.25 million on May 15.

Scronic paid $1.59 million for the property in Nov. 2004. Unit 11J is part of The Clocktower condominium development, which was built in 1930. It is located in the Dumbo Historic District.

Scronic works as a dual language teacher at the New York City Department of Education. Before this, she served as the founder and CEO of Taste Bud Organic Baby Food and vice president of Euro RSCG, an integrated marketing communications agency.

She attended Brown University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 44 home sales in Dumbo during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.22 million.
