Daykin is a retired president and executive director of the City Center. Prior to joining City Center, she served as a principal consultant at Theatre Projects Consultants, a theater design and management consulting firm. She also was the executive vice president and managing director at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the executive director of the Paul Taylor Dance Company.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 16 home sales in Cobble Hill during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $737,500.
