Hairdresser sells home in Carroll Gardens/Columbia Street

Medium 38dfe74b617829ed1c8e8d1155a1e95c Zak Mascolo sold a 3,648-square-foot home at 415 Hoyt St. in Carroll Gardens/Columbia Street to Nicola P. Glass for $2.2 million on May 31.

Mascolo paid $1.8 million for the property in June 2007. The home was built in 1931.

Mascolo is the creative leader at Toni & Guy, a hairdressing company co-founded by his father, Guy Mascolo. He previously managed classes for the TIGI Advanced Academy in New York.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 61 home sales in Carroll Gardens/Columbia Street during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $589,000.
