The estate of Katherine W. Mellon has listed for sale a three-bedroom, 2.2-bath home at 43 Main St. in Stonington for $1.6 million.

The 3,848-square-foot home was built in 1827. Thomas Switz of Switz Real Estate Associates is the listing agent.

Mellon was a board member of Art Services International and the American Friends of the Courtauldt Institute in London.

She passed away on March 30.
