More Than 500 Earn AP Scholar Honors at Stevenson High School

500 current and former students earned Advanced Placement Scholar awards from the College Board for their performance on the annual AP exams last spring.
One student, Ranna Zhou (Class of 2010), earned distinction as the top AP female scholar in the state. The College Board honors one male and one female student in each U.S. state and the District of Columbia with the State AP Scholar award. The honor goes to those with grades of 3 or higher on the greatest number of AP exams, and then the highest average grade (at least 3.5) on all exams taken. Zhou took 16 AP exams, and earned an average score of 4.81. She scored a 5 on 14 of the exams. This is the second straight year that Stevenson has had the top AP female scholar in Illinois.

Here is a breakdown of Stevensons AP Award recipients by category, followed by a link to the list of students who earned the honors:

98 students earned National AP Scholar status for receiving an average score of at least 4 on all of their AP exams, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of the exams.
