Seminal landscape architect owned this house

Landscape architect Charles Lay owned this house in 1938. He was the first student to earn a Landscape Architecture degree at Harvard University. Law served as a consultant on landscape for the New York World's Fair (1939) while he owned this house. Lay was involved in the planning of many New York City parks. He passed away in 1956.
