Pulitzer Prize winning "Egghead" married to the "Hourglass" lived here

Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Arthur Miller grew up in this house according to the 1930 U.S. census. He won the 1949 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for "Death of a Salesman." Miller also penned the classics "The Crucible" and "View From a Bridge." He was married to international sex symbol Marilyn Monroe from 1956 to 1961. The press labeled the marriage "the Egghead and the Hourglass." Miller passed away in 2005.
