Peter Allegra owned this house and was a former car dealer when he passed away in 1995. He and his brother owned Allegra Ford in Forest Park until 1978 when they sold the business. The brothers then opened a Chevrolet dealership in Park Ridge, which they operated until 1982. The Allegras began with a Packard dealership. Peter Allegra played a key role in organizing the annual Chicago Auto Show.
