Deacon Dr. James Gagnon owned this house when he passed away in 2000. He was board certified in radiation oncology. In 1981 he helped found a radiation practice in Elgin. Since that time, the practice has expanded to include offices in Joliet, McHenry, Batavia and Oak Park. Gagnon was also a deacon at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church.
