NBA All-Star forward, Rashard Lewis, grew up in this house. The 32nd overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics entered the 1998 NBA Draft after graduation from Alief Elsik High School, eschewing college. Lewis was an All-Star with the SuperSonics in 2005 and for his current team, the Orlando Magic, in 2009.
