Film great Clark Gable lived here

Screen legend, Clark Gable, lived in this house during 1926 and 1927. He moved into the house built by popular theater director Frederick Leon Webster while performing for a year with the Laskin Brothers Stock Company. Gable would go on to earn the nickname " The King of Hollywood" by becoming one of the few actors to have played the lead in three films that captured the Academy Award for Best Picture.
