ACLU founder lived here

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) founder Roger Baldwin lived in this building in 1938. He founded the ACLU in 1920 after his imprisonment for draft evasion. The ACLU is a national organization advocating individual rights by litigation, legislation, and education. Baldwin served as executive director of the ACLU from 1920 to 1950. He passed away in 1981.
