Metropolitan Opera soprano lived in this building

Soprano Phyllis Curtin lived in this building in 1967. She performed in most of the world's great opera houses. Curtin, who is 89, was still playing lead roles at the Metropolitan Opera, New York, in her 50's. She retired from singing in 1984. Curtin taught at Yale University and is the Artistic Advisor at the Opera Institute at Boston University.
