Actor Mongomery Clift lived here

President Theodore Roosevelt reportedly gave this four-bedroom townhouse to his daughter Alice as a wedding present in 1906. And Russian Prince Serge Obolensky lived here for a time as well. But it's perhaps best known as the New York City home of four-time Academy Award nominated actor Mongomery Clift, who lived in the home until his death in 1966. The home has most of its original details intact and seven functioning fireplaces.
