Mike Tyson's former Phoenix home
by BlockShopper Historian published Jul. 31, 2009
Retired boxer Mike Tyson sold this secluded Paradise Valley home in 2007. The youngest heavyweight champion ever, Tyson would reportedly tend to his 350 pigeons on this property, and it was also while living here in 2006 that he was arrested in Scottsdale, Ariz., on suspicion of DUI and felony drug possession after nearly crashing into a police SUV after leaving a nightclub. After pleading not guilty to felony drug possession driving under the influence of drugs charges, he checked himself into a drug rehab program. Tyson, who has not fought professionally since 2005, was married to Lakiha Spicer this June, just 10 days after his 4-year-old daughter, Exodus, died after being strangled by a cord dangling from an exercise machine.
