Rudolph Hoogstraet was director of the Comfort Ptg. and Stationary Co. in 1960 when he owned this house. He was president of the Loretto Foundation of Webster College (Webster University) from 1946 to 1951. In 1964 ground was broken for Busch Stadium at 200 South 7th Street, the former address of the Comfort Ptg. and Stationary Co.
