Railway equipment president owned this house

Louis Hoerr was president of the Railway Equipment Co. in 1912 when he owned this house. He began his career with the company in 1896 as a mechanical engineer and was named president in 1905. Hoerr had over eighty patents on railroad devices that were in use on over 500,000 freight cars.
