George M. Steinbrenner III, legendary owner of the New York Yankees, moved to this home in 2000 from another in Tampa's Beach Park neighborhood.

Steinbrenner finally sold that home at 5002 Shore Crest Circle for $2.916 million in Dec. 2004 to personal injury lawyer John Bales. He had originally listed it for $4.2 million, according to a report in the Tampa Tribune.
