George Steinbrenner, legendary owner of the New York Yankees, paid $1.6 million for this home in Tampa's Beach Park neighborhood in 1986.
He moved from the home in 2000 to another in Golfview Estates, but didn't sell it until 2004 for $2.916 million.
Steinbrenner originally listed 5002 Shore Crest Circle-- with "11,688 heated square feet, five bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, a three-car garage, boat slip and pool"-- for $4.2 million, according to the Tampa Tribune.
