Actor Don Herbert owned this house in 1967. He was better known as Mr. Wizard, star of the hit children's television programs "Watch Mr. Wizard" (1951 to 1965) and a Nickelodian reprisal of the show during the 1980s. Mr. Wizard had more than 100,000 children enrolled in 5,000 Mr. Wizard Science Clubs during the 1950s. He was a major influence for the "Baby Boom Generation" of scientists. Herbert was a guest on the first episode of "Late Night with David Letterman." He passed away in 2007.
